Music Ministry
Our music at Alamance is eclectic and spirit-filled. We sing classic hymns, spirituals, and more contemporary worship songs, sometimes all in one service. Anthems and offertories, some arranged by our classically trained music staff, fill our sanctuary every time we worship. Handbells, guitar, djimbe, trumpet, clarinet, cello, cajon, and organ all might make their appearance any given Sunday. Bluegrass, gospel, contemporary Christian, jazz, or the latest billboard chart might welcome you to worship. The music we play always fits the part of God’s story we are telling, and there is something for everyone here.
Adult Choir
Our choir is second to none! Every Sunday, their music lifts and inspires our congregation. They also lead two special programs a year, one during the Advent and Christmas season and a Good Friday service right before Easter.
Our choir practices on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. They also meet for practice and a devotion on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
Handbell Choir
Our handbell choir brings together ringers of every skill level for performances in worship throughout the year. The handbell choir practices every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
