What We Believe

We believe in the triune God, Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all.

We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s precious child, and that through his death and resurrection, we are reconciled to the Divine.

We believe that God created the world good and made everyone equally in God’s image to live as one beloved community, and that God acts with justice and mercy to redeem creation. 

​

We believe that the Holy Spirit resides within each of us, and that dishonoring this truth dishonors God. 

​

We know that human beings are forgetful and flawed, and that this leads to a broken and fearful world.  In spite of this, we trust that God is forgiving, that Christ is gracious, and that the Spirit empowers us to have courage, and so with believers in every time and place, we rejoice that nothing in life or in death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
